A lot of you Six Chix fans would like to know what the chix are up to when they're not drawing their daily toons, so, we've dedicated this page to keep you informed on the latest hot news stories and ultra cool coverage of six of the comic pages' savviest women!

Monday: Isabella Bannerman: Isy was  part of a group show in Charlottesville, VA in June 2007. She was invited as  part of  a reunion weekend.

Tuesday: Margaret Shulock:

Besides her stint as Tuesday's chick, Margaret does a 3 x a week cartoon for the Olean Times Herald. She alternates between single panel humor and editorial cartoons. Not only that, Margaret keeps busy as one of the writers for King Features "Snuffy Smith", the old classic, still alive and kicking and  "Apartment 3G" with Margaret writing for them, they are sure to around for a while!

Wednesday: Rina Piccolo:

 

Very exciting news for Rina! If you love Six Chix,  you are sure to love her  brand  new King Features strip "Tina's Groove", a super hip and funny daily strip about the life and loves of a single woman working as a waitress. It features a cast of hilarious characters and great writing!

Good news for Tina fans! Rina has a collection of Tina's strips out in book form from Andrews & McMeel!

 

Thursday: Anne Gibbons: The latest exciting news is that our good friend and super cartoonist, Anne Gibbons, has been invited to take on the Thursday slot of "Six Chix". Anne has done a wide variety of work over the years and won a Reuben in the Greeting Card category a few years back.

                       

Friday: Kathryn LeMieux 

 

Kathryn does a weekly strip for the Pt. Reyes Light called Feral West.  Go to www.ptreyeslight.com to see it.  Her fantastic paintings, like the one on the left, can be seen at the Bodega Landmark Gallery in Bodega Ca.
 

 

 

Saturday: Stephanie Piro

Stephanie's  book, "My Cat Loves Me Naked," has just been published by Sourcebooks! Order yours, here!

Stephanie's  Kids' Cartoon Club is  held at the Goodwin Library in Farmington the last Monday of every month. Her adult writer's group, meets there the first Monday of each month. plus she recently organized and ran an "Eclipse Prom" for Teen Reads Week 2007. She also just completed doing all the artwork for the CHILIS NH Summer Reading Program for 2008. These things AND this website keep her busy, busy, busy!

Ann Telnaes, left "Six Chix" to concentrate on her brilliant editorial cartoons.
She won the Pulitzer a couple of years ago.

Carla Ventresca has been so busy with her own strip, "On A Claire Day," that she recently stepped down as the Thursday chick.
